Augusta police are looking for a suspect in an armed robbery at a motel.

In connection with an armed robbery that occurred at the Super 8 Motel on Washington Road on Tuesday afternoon, investigators are looking for a male.

The suspect is characterized as a Black male around 40 years old, around six feet tall, with black hair and brown eyes, by the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office.

A sufferer with a laceration to his face was discovered at the motel and was attended to right away.

This investigation is still ongoing. The suspect should be treated as dangerous and armed.
