Betty Cayson Obituary, Death – Betty Kathyrn Green Cayson, 67 years old, passed away on July 2, 2023 in Mayo, Florida, and went to be with Jesus. Kathy’s parents, Ted F. Green and Eloise Franklin Green, welcomed her into the world on February 1, 1956 in Perry, Florida. Kathy was the eldest of her five brothers and sisters.

Kathy adhered to the doctrines of the Christian Church of God faith. Throughout her life, Kathy was a devoted housewife who had the luxury of rearing not only her grandkids and great grandchildren, but also children who had been placed in her care as foster children. There is no love more profound than that of a grandmother, and the influence she had on her grandchildren’s life is unparalleled. Kathy’s father, Ted F. Green, and her brother, Charles Richard Green, both passed away before she did.

Kathy is survived by her children, Nicole (Jay) Levasseur, Shaun (Sarah) Cayson, and Chase Stanley; her brothers Timmy (Millie) Green and Michael (Eunice) Green, her sisters Sheron (Randy) Elmore and Melisha (Nick) Cothern; her grandchildren, Justen, Dylan, Ryan, Jacob, Jesse, Bailey, and Tegan; great grandchildren, Carlie, Hunter, and Audrey; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

At 11:00 in the morning on Saturday, July 8, 2023, there will be a Celebration of Kathy’s Life held at the Burns Funeral Home in Perry, with Reverend Jay Stamey serving as the officiant. The family will greet friends beginning one hour before the start of the service. Burns Funeral Home, located in Perry, is in charge of all of the preparations at this time.
