Beverly Campbell Obituary, Death – With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Beverly Sue Boyer Campbell, aged 70, a resident of Normandy. She peacefully departed this world on June 23, 2023, at Vanderbilt Tullahoma Harton Hospital. Beverly was born on March 19, 1953, in Centralia, Illinois, to the late Alvin Leroy Boyer and Doris Mae Sweet.
Throughout her career, Beverly dedicated herself to working with elementary school students as an aide, providing valuable assistance in the areas of reading and math. It was a role that aligned perfectly with her passion for education. Beverly found great joy in helping children learn and grow, leaving a positive impact on their lives.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Beverly treasured the time she spent conversing and being in the company of her cherished friends and loved ones. Their presence brought her immeasurable happiness, and she held these connections close to her heart. Additionally, Beverly’s love for Labradors was a constant presence in her life for over twenty years. The sight of adorable puppies never failed to bring a radiant smile to her face.
Beverly is preceded in death by her father, Alvin Boyer, and her dear relative, Tony Boyer. She is survived by her loving husband, Joe Campbell, who shared a deep and enduring bond with her. Also left to cherish her memory are her sister, Connie Phelps of Belgrade, Missouri, and her devoted mother, Doris Boyer, also of Belgrade, Missouri. Beverly’s beloved nephew, Cody Phelps and his wife Brittany of Colorado, were an important part of her life and will forever hold a special place in her heart.
A visitation to honor Beverly’s life will take place on Thursday, June 29, 2023, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home located at 300 1st Ave NW, Winchester, TN 37398. Following the visitation, a funeral service will commence at 1:00 pm, also held at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. The service will be officiated by Pastor Kelly Cunningham, who will guide the attendees in paying tribute to Beverly’s life and offering solace to those mourning her loss.
