Billy Bryant Obituary, Death – Billy Ralph Bryant, Sr., age 90, was a resident of Latimer, Mississippi and passed away in Ocean Springs, Mississippi on June 29, 2023.
He was the child of W. Ottis Bryant and Bessie L. Hough Bryant, who welcomed him into the world on February 20, 1933 in Taylorsville, Mississippi. He attended St. Martin High School and graduated there. He left his job at F&F Distributions to pursue retirement.
He was a member of the Army National Guard for the United States. He had a deep love for his wife, children, and family. He took pleasure in both hunting and being outside. Billy’s parents, W. Ottis Bryant and Bessie L. Hough Bryant, as well as his brother, Gerald Russell Bryant, and daughter-in-law, Donna Bryant, all away before him. He is survived by his three children, Regina Bryant Crawford, Billy (Julie) Bryant, Jr., and Lamar (Melissa) Bryant; five grandchildren, Brandon Lamas, Jeremy Bryant, Aaron Bryant.
Brittany Powell, and Shay Bryant; one sibling, Joe (Vanessa) Bryant; and a large number of nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Billy Bryant. The Singing River Hospital’s Nursing Staff and Doctors have been very helpful, and the family would like to express their gratitude to them. On Sunday, July 2, 2023, the Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home in Ocean Springs, Mississippi will be hosting a visitation beginning at 5:00 pm and continuing until 6:00 pm. On the afternoon of Monday, July 3, 2023, at 2:00 p.m., a funeral ceremony will take place at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home located at 113 Front Street in Taylorsville, Mississippi. Friends are welcome to drop by an hour beforehand. After the service, the deceased will be laid to rest at the Bezer Cemetery in Raleigh, Mississippi.
