Brock Maestas Obituary, Utah In Loving Memory Of Brock Maestas

Brock Maestas Obituary, Death – Brock R. Maestas, aged 28, our cherished son, father, brother, uncle, grandson, nephew, cousin, and loyal friend to all, peacefully passed away on October 28, 2020. He fought a courageous battle with health issues, and complications led to his untimely departure.

Born on February 7, 1992, in Payson, Utah, Brock was the son of Ron and Karen Money Maestas. He grew up in Layton and graduated from Layton High School in 2010, where he excelled in football, basketball, and baseball. Following high school, Brock attended Salt Lake Community College for two years before embarking on a career in Sales and Marketing. He worked with Verizon, Clearlink, and Utah Executive Group, and was employed by Kimberly Clark Corp. at the time of his passing.

Brock was renowned for his strong work ethic, zest for life, cherished daddy-daughter dates, and his notorious habit of arriving late to every event. In his truck, you could find an assortment of sports equipment, from golf clubs and fishing tackle to softball mitts, footballs, basketballs, and pickleball racquets. He possessed a natural athletic ability and excelled in every sport he played. His absence will be deeply felt by the softball teams he played with, who will miss his skills at shortstop and his words of encouragement.

Brock’s infectious smile was impossible to miss. People were naturally drawn to him, relying on his help whenever needed. His radiant and optimistic outlook on life touched everyone he encountered, leaving a lasting impression. Above all, Brock’s most cherished role was being Mila’s Daddy. His dedication as a father was unparalleled, and they were inseparable. Mila was the love of his life, and he treasured every moment spent with her.

Brock was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He is survived by his loving parents Ron and Karen, his sister McKell, his brother Kolbey, his nephew Kohen, his niece Miah, his loyal companion Uce, and most importantly, his beloved daughter Mila Danielle.
