Christine Kohunui Obituary, Death – It is with heavy hearts and profound sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, nanny, and wife, Christine Kohunui. She leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth that will forever be etched in our hearts.

Christine is survived by her loving sons, Timmy and Pat, who meant the world to her. She was a devoted wife to Timothy Kohunui, her rock and companion in life. However, it was in her role as Nanny that Christine truly shined. She was the epitome of love and care, adored by all her mokopuna (grandchildren) who held a special place in her heart.

To honor and celebrate her remarkable life, a nehu (funeral service) will take place on Wednesday, July 12th. The service will commence at 11 am at the family’s homestead, followed by a gathering at Hillcrest at 12:30 pm.
