Curtis Moen Obituary, Death – Curtiss L. Moen, also known as “Curt,” passed away at the age of 90. He resided in Eagan. After retiring from the United States Postal Data Center after 39 years of service, Curt served his country with honor throughout both World War II and Korea. Gene Moen and Dorothy “John” Cox, Curt’s siblings, both passed away before him. Curt was predeceased by his parents, Clarence and Gladys Moen.
Carol, his devoted wife of 29 years, and his three kids, Steve (Melinda) Moen, Tracie (Glenn) Belvin, and Greg (Kim) Moen, all survive him. In addition to her sister-in-law Liz Moen and a large number of other family and friends, she has five grandchildren named Kristina, Nick, Lori, Aaron, and Adam as well as two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at 9:30 in the morning on Monday prior to the funeral service which will begin at 11:30 AM at the Mount Olivet Church located at 5025 Knox Avenue South in Minneapolis. Inurnment to be held privately at the Fort Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions will be made to the Radio Ministry of the Mount Olivet Church.
