He was preceded in death by his mother Karen Phelps (Steelman), his father William Steelman, and his sisters Linda Still (Steelman) and Karen Phelps (Steelman). He is survived by : his wife Nancy Steelman (Howe); his mother Sue Steelman; his children, Courtney Turner (Steve), Grant Steelman (Sarah), Nicholas Davis, Nolan Davis (Chelsea), Noah Davis (Kylie), Gloria Davis (Miguel) and Nathan Davis (Taylor); his sister Penny Kelly (Gary); and his grandchildren, Adrianna, Chase, Gavin, Liam, Ella, Olivia, Rory, Nohlee, Karsynn, Rossi, Parker, Andee, Nylah, Naomi, Phinn, Madison, Nathan and Mateo.

On Saturday, July 8th, 2023, visitation will take place at the Branson Funeral Service & Crematory (6107 S East St, Indianapolis, IN 46217) from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. On Saturday, July 8th, 2023, at 2:00 PM, there will be a celebration of life conducted at the O’Riley Branson Funeral Service and Crematory, which is located at 6107 S East St, Indianapolis, Indiana 46217.
