Doug Short Obituary, Death – We are deeply saddened to have to inform you of the demise of Doug Short, who was not only a part of our family but also our brother. It is with a heavy heart that we do so.
During this trying time, we want Sally and his lovely wife to know that we are thinking of them and sending our love, prayers, and condolences to the rest of their family and friends. Doug was a wonderful person in general and worked as an engineer for us at the front of the house.

While we were on the road with our wild rock and roll circus, he was quick with a smile and a hug, and he would do all that he could to make your day easier by doing all he could to facilitate that. Doug has collaborated with a veritable who’s who of musicians and bands, such as PRINCE, MEGADETH, and VAN HALEN, in addition to a large number of other groups and performers. He was an outstanding talent who worked as a sound man for the band, and he relished the ability to “make people FEEL the power” of the band.

In Doug’s honor, we will remember the fun times we had together, his sense of humor, his kindness, and his enthusiasm for rock and roll in all of its incarnations. Because he was such a model citizen, the world will be a much worse place now that he is no longer in it. Father Doug, we are grateful for your service and pray that it is LOUD in heaven!
