Drew Craghead Obituary, Death – It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Drew Edward Craghead, a beloved son, brother, and friend, who departed this world on July 1, 2023, in Larned, Kansas. Born on July 24, 2005, in Reno, Nevada, Drew was the cherished son of Kent and Erika Sweany Craghead.

Drew was a lifelong resident of the area and recently graduated from Hodgeman County High School, leaving a lasting impact on the school community. He dedicated his time to Arensman Services in Kinsley, Kansas, where he worked diligently.

Drew held firm in his Christian faith and actively participated in various groups, including the Community Life Group, Jetmore, Hodgeman County 4-H, FFA, and Hodgeman County Trap Shooters. He also found joy in connecting with others through numerous truck groups on social media platforms.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving parents, Kent and Erika Craghead, and his adoring brothers, Tyler and Jacob Craghead, all residing in Jetmore. Drew will be forever remembered by his maternal grandmother, Alice Sweany, and paternal grandfather, Darrel (Pauline) Craghead, both of Jetmore.

Drew was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Jim Sweany, and paternal grandmother, Lola Craghead.

A funeral service to honor Drew’s life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 6, 2023, at the United Presbyterian Church in Jetmore, with Pastor Mark Durham and Pastor Michael Perrotti presiding.

Visitation hours will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 5, 2023, at Beckwith Funeral Home in Jetmore. Drew will be laid to rest in the Fairmount Cemetery in Jetmore.
