Erik Wilson Obituary, Erik Wilson Has Sadly Passed Away

Erik Wilson Obituary, Death-Eric L. Wilson passed away on Thursday, April 6th, at the age of fifty, as his family has shared the terrible news with the community. Eric was the middle child of Jimmy D. and Mary Lynn Wilson, who also had an older brother named Marc and a younger sister named Christina.

Eric was born on May 17, 1972 in Las Vegas, Nevada to parents Jimmy D. and Mary Lynn Wilson. His parents relocated to Albuquerque, New Mexico in 1974 to raise their family there. Eric already had a son named Gabriel and a daughter named Jillian when he married Tiffany, and the marriage resulted in the arrival of two more boys named Joseph and Ethan. Eric was a shining example of a wonderful person and genuine leader because of the deep love he had for his wife and children. Eric was the father of four children.

Eric radiated enthusiasm for life, and his dazzling grin could brighten any space. Eric was enthralled as a young boy by the adventures of Indiana Jones, the films of the Star Wars franchise, and eating peanut butter & jelly sandwiches. Eric received his diploma from Eldorado High School in the year 1990. Eric joined the United States Navy after watching the critically acclaimed film Top Gun and was promptly issued a leather flying jacket. After establishing himself as a genuine national hero and rising through the ranks of the navy, Eric was eventually promoted to the position of Chief Petty Officer and received several plaudits, decorations, and honors for his service.

After serving as a chief in the Navy for many years, Eric retired and found great satisfaction in the simpler things in life. Eric would eventually be able to fly his drone, fly his remote control airplane, and use his 3D printer. The next day, Eric would spend time fishing, hiking, or binge-watching one of his favorite shows. Eric enjoyed a wide variety of activities, and he was always eager to try something new. During the last few months of his life, Eric voiced several occasions of joy and delight with the path his life had taken.

On Friday, June 23, 2023, at noon, there will be a gathering to commemorate Eric’s life at French Funeral Home, which is situated at 9300 Golf Course Rd. NW, Albuquerque, New Mexico 87114. This will be followed by an honorable military burial in Arlington National Cemetery sometime in 2024. Attendance during these services is encouraged for everybody and everyone who had a fondness for Eric and his family.

The worship service at the chapel will be broadcast live online for those who are unable to be present in person. Donations to the Stop Soldier Suicide organization are welcome in place of traditional floral tributes.
