Gareth Fôn Jones Obituary, Death – Tributes have been flowing in from every direction following the “profoundly sad” demise of a “invaluable” headteacher. According to Gareth Fôn Jones’s former employees at T Castell, the news of his passing was confirmed earlier this morning.
This man, who is 53 years old and works as the headmaster of Ysgol Dolbadarn in Llanberis, is probably most known for his job. However, he was also instrumental in transforming a Grade II listed building that was over 300 years old and was situated within the medieval town walls of Caernarfon into the vibrant T’ Castell restaurant and hostel. This edifice is now known as the T’ Castell.
The person who is well-known in the community was given a diagnosis of RCMD in June of 2015; RCMD is a sort of cancer that affects both the blood and the bone marrow. The disease was discovered in this person. Before he traveled to Germany in search of a donor for his bone marrow, he had been given a prognosis of only 18 months to live by medical professionals. During the most recent Estyn inspection in 2018, which he oversaw as the head of the organization, Ysgol Dolbadarn was recognized as one of the few schools in Wales to be awarded the highest grade available. This success can be attributed to the direction and guidance that he provided.
