Gary Curtis Obituary, Death – On Monday, Gary C. Curtis, who was 78 years old, has peacefully passed away. On January 31, 1943, he was born in the state of California to parents named Charles “Bud” and Stella Curtis. Gary spent his childhood in Fair Oaks, California, before enlisting in the Air Force of the United States of America in 1961.
He served his country during the Vietnam War and lived the majority of his life at Mountain Home, where he eventually settled down and retired in 1982. After he retired, he took a job with Boeing, where he remained for a significant portion of his career in Saudi Arabia. Gary was an avid outdoorsman who cherished his time spent fishing in Bruneau on the Snake River and hunting in the Owyhees. Gary was an avid collector of a wide variety of items, but his true passion was collecting golf balls.
In the event that you ever needed to locate him, you could nearly always find him working at the Desert Canyon Golf Course, where he had been employed for the previous few years. He had a reputation for being the nicest person in the room and was held in high esteem by many people. He will be sorely missed by everyone. Gary’s family members that passed away before him include his mother Stella, his father Charles, and his brother Keith. His son Chad and his wife Cassandra Curtis, as well as his grandchildren Daysen, Lilyann, and Stella, will go on after his passing.
