James Morgan Obituary, Funeral Will Be Held at Shultz Funeral Home in Jasper

James Morgan Obituary, Death – On June 25, 2023, in the city of Jasper, Texas, an individual named James Earl “Jim” Morgan, who had lived in Jasper all of his life and had reached the age of 80, passed away. On the evening of Friday, June 30, 2023, at 6:00 p.m., there will be a memorial ceremony held in honor of the life of the person who passed away at the Shultz Funeral Home in Jasper.

The decedent will be honored with military ceremonies. The family will begin seeing and greeting friends at the funeral home at five o’clock in the afternoon and will continue doing so until six o’clock in the evening. On the 30th of January in 1943, in the town of Kirbyville, Texas, Jim Morgan was born to his parents, Floyd and Mary Morgan. He has never lived anywhere else but in Jasper, and up until the day he retired, he was employed as a maintenance foreman at Jasper Oil Company. He is now retired.

While he was serving in the United States Army, he was recognized for his dedication to his country and given the Good Conduct Medal as a token of appreciation. He was a man who put a lot of effort into things, and both he and his family enjoyed going on hunting excursions together. He is survived by his sons Kris Morgan and wife Kaya of Houston and Scott Morgan and wife Nichole of Rockwall; his daughter Kim Morgan Shellhammer and husband Todd of Sam Rayburn; a sister Ricky Lundquist and husband Richard of Jasper; grandchildren Taylor,

Ryan, Hayden, Hudson, Harper, Ian & wife Katie, and Truman; and great-grandchildren Belle and Conley James, who was born on his birthday. He is also survived by his sister Ricky Lundquist. Ricky Lundquist, his sister, is also continuing his legacy after his passing. Kay Morgan, his wife, passed away before he did. He outlived her by a few years.
