Joyce Lukasiewich Obituary, Death – On July 1st, 2023, our beloved Joyce Lukasiewich (nee Krantz) embarked on her final journey, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. She touched the lives of many, and her presence will be deeply missed.
Joyce’s daughters, Christina (Dan) Brown and Diane (Jim) Rowan, hold her dear in their hearts. Her wisdom, love, and guidance will forever shape the lives of her cherished grandchildren, Ava, Konner, and Graydyn.
She is also survived by her sisters, Ellen Lupick and Margaret (Dave) Klappstein, along with numerous nieces and nephews, who will carry her spirit forward. Joyce was preceded in death by her beloved soulmate and husband, William.
Throughout her remarkable journey, Joyce faced adversity with strength and overcame countless challenges, often without recognition. Her softness of soul, open heart, tenacity, wit, empathy, kindness, and selflessness were a testament to her character.
As a dedicated educator and avid seeker of knowledge, she embraced new ideas and had a profound connection with nature. Joyce’s artistic talent, captivating conversations, and eloquence were gifts she shared with all who knew her.
Her memory will forever be woven into the tapestry of our lives. Though we feel the void of her absence, we take solace in the profound impact she had on us all. In honor of Joyce, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Alberta and Northwest Territories, a cause that was close to her heart.
