Kristina Kelly Obituary, Death – Kristina K. Kelley of Owosso, Michigan, lost her battle with dementia. She passed away at the Grand Haven Living Center in Lansing, Michigan, after a protracted bout with the condition. On February 6, 1962, the city of Muskegon, Michigan, welcomed the arrival of Kristina Kroone, the daughter of John Kroone and Peggy (Worril) Kroone. After completing her high school education at Waverly, she enrolled in and graduated from LCC with an associate’s degree in business and office management.
Kristina worked for a significant amount of time as the office manager at Lamphere’s Heating and Cooling in Owosso. During her time working there and living in Owosso, she developed a large number of friendships. She had a lot of fun going camping and tubing down the Shiawassee River.
She also liked spending time outside. Kristina was a very creative person who enjoyed doing crafts of all different kinds, including crocheting, embroidery, painting, felt art, sewing, macramé, and bead work. She knitted a number of afghans and Halloween costumes for her family and her friends. She had a soft spot in her heart for critters, and she brought several home throughout the course of her life.
Anna and Burelous are her two new cats that she just got recently. She was a volunteer greeter at the Owosso location of St. Paul’s Catholic Church, where she was also a member of the church’s congregation. Her hilarious sense of humor, quick wit, and feisty comebacks will live on in people’s memories for a long time.
