Linda Johnson Obituary, Death – Linda Zoe Johnson, who was from Newton and had reached the age of 64 when she passed away on July 4, 2023, was living at her house at the time of her passing. On February 23, 1959, she was born in Lincoln County to her parents, James Hobert Johnson and Jeanette Michael Houser, who have both since passed away. Her birth took place in Lincoln County. Although Linda worked in the hospitality industry during the week, she spent much of her free time playing video games on her own computer.
The time she got to spend with her grandkids and great-grandchildren was the time she treasured the most out of all the time she got to spend with her other relatives. Her parents passed away first, followed by a great-grandson called Evan Robert James D’Amelio and a brother named James Hobert Johnson, Jr. She also had a brother named James Hobert Johnson, Jr. Those who are still present to pay tribute to her memory are as follows.
Hickory’s Chanda Quackenbos and her husband, Jeff, are our daughter and son-in-law. Chad Stiles and his wife Darlene live in Vale, and Charles Stiles and his wife Tammy live in Hickory. Their sisters, Darlene Mauney and her husband Kevin, also live in Vale. Other relatives of the family include Debbie Smith, who is originally from Lincolnton, and her buddy Don. The names of Lakelynn’s grandkids are as follows: Erin (Matt), Winter (Shawn), Courtney (Cherokee), Austin (Kelsie), Tyler and Caleb Great-Miaha, Pipper, Evan, Azayla, Liam, Kallayha, Kolten, Shawn Jr., Khaleesi, Greyson, and Lakelynn. In remembrance of Linda’s passing, a memorial service honoring her life will be held at Conover City Park on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. The service will be a celebration of Linda’s life. The Reverend Tim Lane is scheduled to serve as the ceremony’s officiant.
