Linda Moore Obituary, Death- Lynn was the loving nickname given to Linda K. Moore, who was the daughter of Wilmily and Hattie Martin, as well as the daughter of Elmira Henry, who has since passed away.

Lynn passed away on June 14, 2023, in the comfort of her home in Salisbury, North Carolina. She was born on October 3, 1953, in Biscoe, North Carolina. Lynn spent her childhood and teenage years in Trenton, New Jersey, where she attended elementary school and was a proud member of the Girl Scouts. She began attending services at the First Baptist Church in Pennington, New Jersey, at a young age, where she was first introduced to her beliefs.

After completing her high school education at Trenton High School, she enlisted in the United States Air Force. She gave her country many years of service before receiving an honorable discharge when she was done. She eventually worked her way up to become a flight attendant so that she could fulfill her desire to see the world. Later in life, Lynn made the journey to North Carolina, settling in Salisbury, where she has made her home for the past 18 years.

In 2022, Lynn took her retirement from the Veterans Affairs Hospital, where she had worked as a cleaning supervisor for the previous 15 years. Not only did she work at the VA Hospital, but she also volunteered there as a fellow servicewoman, where she demonstrated her various abilities, including singing and acting, and was recognized for them with a number of prizes. She was a member of the choir at the VA Chapel, where she went to church.

In the company of Lynn, there was never a dull moment. Being in her presence was always a source of happiness, positivity, and uplift. She never failed to greet everybody with her radiant smile and infectious laughter. Lynn put up a valiant effort in her fight against cancer for a quarter of a century. Her parents, Wimily and Hattie Martin, as well as Elmira Henry, and her brothers, Ronald, Thomas, and Joseph, all passed away before Lynn did. Lynn lived her life to the fullest and was preceded in death by her family.
