Marcia Miller Obituary, Death –A collision involving two automobiles took place on 540 Avenue, which is situated to the south of 892 Road, in the evening of February 25, 2023. The incident took place in the evening. An investigation into what took happened has been given to the custody of the Knox County Sheriff’s Office to carry out.
When the accident occurred, Henry and Marcia Miller of Crofton, Nebraska, were driving in their gray 2011 Subaru Outback when they collided with James Pelster’s red 1983 Ford F-150 from Omaha. The Subaru Outback that was involved in the accident was being driven by James Pelster at the time of the collision. Pelster Miller is a native of Omaha, Nebraska, despite the fact that he and his family currently reside in Crofton.
While Mrs. Miller and Mr. Pelster were driving up the hill on 540 Avenue toward the summit, they came perilously near to having a head-on collision. Miller and Pelster were both sent to the Avera Sacred Heart Hospital in Yankton for treatment of injuries that were not deemed to be immediately life-threatening. Miller was the only person who could be saved and was taken to safety via helicopter after the incident. The situation was salvaged for Pelster as well.
On February 26, 2023, Marcia Miller was given a prognosis that was classified as being stable but serious by medical specialists. The Santee Police Department, the Nebraska State Patrol, Santee Rescue, Bloomfield Rescue, Santee Fire, Lindy Fire, and Bloomfield Fire were all sent to the location to assist with the incident. Other emergency services such as Santee Rescue, Bloomfield Rescue, and Lindy Fire were also called. Each of these departments and divisions had staff members who were friendly and helpful.
