Mary Willet Obituary, Adrian, Michigan Resident Has Died At 77

Mary Willet Obituary, Death – Mary Lou Willet, 77, of Adrian, Michigan, died on July 3, 2023. Mary Lou Riley was born in Celina, Ohio, on November 14, 1945, to Charles Robert Riley and Cyria (Geha) Riley. In Adrian, Michigan, on January 11, 1969, she married Robert “Bob” Willet.

Mary Lou was a member of St. Joseph Church in Adrian, Michigan. She adored her family, grandchildren, and pets, and she relished the opportunity to make Christmas special for all of them. She was known for her love of her house and her kind heart, constantly making sure that others around her had enough to eat.

Her husband, Robert “Bob” Willet, lives in Adrian, Michigan, as do her sons, Joe (Kathy) Adams of Phoenix, Arizona, Ken (Ann) Adams of Tipton, Michigan, and Jeff (Nana) Willet of Adrian, Michigan; Carolyn (Terry) Burkett of Adrian, Michigan; and her grandchildren, Ryan Adams, Sarah Adams, Willshire Adams, Jerry Adams, Calvin Willet, and Zadie Willet. Her parents died before her; her first husband, Jerry Adams, died on December 17, 1964; and her dogs, Scottie, Max, Izaac, Greta, and Nick.

The funeral mass for Mary Lou Willet will be held at Holy Family Parish – St. Joseph Campus on Friday, July 7, 2023, at 10:30 a.m., following by an hour of visitation. The event will be presided over by Father Bob Pienta. The burial will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery. Anderson-Marry Funeral Home in Adrian, Michigan, will hold a visitation from 3-8 p.m. on Thursday, July 6, 2023.
