Mattie Killeen Obituary, Death- The neighborhoods of Monivea, Galway’s Costello’s Park, and Costello’s Park in Monivea. After a valiant struggle against a prolonged illness, he passed away peacefully at the Galway Hospice surrounded by the loving family that he had committed his life to.
His wife Mary, his parents Thomas and Mary, his brother Mick, his sister Maureen, and his sister-in-law Mary (Potter) all went away before he did. He was the only surviving member of his immediate family. His daughters Fiona, Noel, Aiden, Laura, and Chloe, his adored granddaughter Ciara, his niece Mary, his brother Seán, his sister Sr. Rita and sister-in-law Eileen, his nieces, nephews, grand-nephews and nieces, extended relatives, neighbors, and many friends will mourn Mattie for the rest of their lives and feel a profound loss as a result of his passing away.
The corpse of Mattie will be put to rest at the Sacred Heart Room in Ryehill on Tuesday, June 27 between the hours of five and seven o’clock in the evening. The Sacred Heart Room is situated right adjacent to the Sacred Heart Church. Getting to the Sacred Heart Church in Ryehill in plenty of time for the funeral mass that will be performed there on Wednesday at noon is the goal here. After that, the burial will take place at the Monivea Cemetery. Flowers just for the members of the family.
