Nicole Ellerbeck Obituary, Death – On Thursday evening, a spokesperson from Syracuse University sent an email to all students, faculty, and staff informing them of Nicole Ellerbeck’s death. Ellerbeck was a Ph.D. student in Syracuse University’s College of Arts and Sciences.

According to Allen Groves, SU’s senior vice president and chief student experience officer, Ellerbeck came to Syracuse University in 2016 to complete her master’s degree in clinical psychology before enrolling in the Ph.D. program. People who knew Nicole, according to Groves, described her as a kind and gifted student and therapist. She was also described as having a pleasant personality.

Behzad Mortazavi, dean of the campus of Arts and Sciences, stated in a subsequent email that the campus community is in shock as a result of Ellerbeck’s death. According to Mortazavi, “Nicole was an exceptional student and clinician, and she will be greatly missed by many.” During this sad time, we are keeping her family and all of her friends in our thoughts and prayers.
