Patricia Reed Obituary, Death- Mrs. Patricia Eileen Reed will be laid to rest on Monday, June 26, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel of Rush Funeral Home in Pineville. The Reverend Bruce Maxwell will preside over the proceedings. The interment will take place in Restland Memorial Gardens in Pollock, and Rush Funeral Home in Pineville will be in charge of the arrangements.
At the age of 89, Mrs. Reed of Pollock, Louisiana, passed away on Friday, June 23, 2023, at the Woods Haven Senior Citizens Home in Pollock, Louisiana.
Patricia was a devout follower of the Baptist religion who also had a house. Ceramics and gardening were two of her favorite hobbies, and she also liked playing baseball and several other sports. Above all else, she cherished the opportunity to look after her grandkids. Everyone who knew and loved her will grieve her passing in a profound way.
Her parents, Ora and Verna Coleman, as well as one son, Danny Lee, and one daughter, Bonnie Lee, passed away before she did. She was the last of her immediate family members.
Those who are left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory include her devoted husband, Richard Reed, Jr. of Pollock; two sons, Glenn Lee of Pollock and Michael Reed of Pollock; four daughters, Pam Lee of Wisconsin, June Lee (Billy) of Pineville, Cindy Reed (Brent) of Arkansas, and Ruth Reed of Pontchatoula; one brother, Bob Coleman of Washington; sixteen grandchildren; many great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren; and one sister, Barbara Coleman of Washington.
Visitation will take place at the Rush Funeral Home in Pineville on the evening of Sunday, June 25, 2023, beginning at 5:00 p.m. and continuing until 8:00 p.m. On Monday, June 26, 2023, visiting hours will resume at 10:00 a.m. and continue until the start of the funeral.
Timothy Smiley, Michael Reed, Chelsea Stelly, and Chaz Stelly have been entrusted with the responsibility of serving as pallbearers.
