Ron Romaguera Obituary, Retired Palm Harbor Firefighter Has Passed Away
Ron Romaguera Obituary, Death – Our deepest condolences are sent to the Romaguera family on the passing of Firefighter Ron Romaguera, who had only recently retired from the Palm Harbor Fire Department at the time of his passing. Please accept our sincere sympathies.
Firefighter Romaguera started his career with Palm Harbor Fire Rescue in July of 1987, and he served the residents of Palm Harbor for nearly 27 years before he retired on November 26th, 2014. In addition to the responsibilities that he had as a member of the Hazardous Materials Team for the department, he also spent a considerable amount of time working as the driver engineer for Engine 66. In addition to that, he was employed by the department as a member of the department’s personnel.
During the time that Ron was a member of the Honor Guard, he had the privilege of being one of a very few number of persons who were allowed to place a wreath on the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. The opportunity for Ron to take part in this somber occasion was a privilege. This was a really embarrassing and humbling ordeal to go through. Please remember not only him but also his wife, their family, and all of his other close friends as you pray for him, and keep in mind that you are praying for him when you say those prayers.
