Travis Ludwig Obituary, Gone Too Soon: Mourn the Unexpected Loss of Beloved Father and Sports Enthusiast
Travis Ludwig Obituary, Death – Travis Lee Ludwig, 43, a beloved resident of Elkins, has passed away, leaving his family and friends in deep sorrow. His untimely death on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, came as a shock, as he was in good health.
Travis was born on January 15, 1980, in Winchester, VA, the son of Sheryl Moreland and the late Richard Ludwig. He will be forever remembered and cherished by his wife, Michelle, and their children Andrew “Austin,” Tyler, Isabelle, and Xi, all residing in Elkins. He is also survived by his sister, April Ludwig of Washington, DC, as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Travis dedicated his professional life to AHF as a Quality Assurance Inspector. However, his true joy came from supporting his children’s endeavors, whether it was attending their ball games, band concerts, pool activities, basketball matches, track events, or parades.
He was their biggest fan. In his spare time, Travis found solace in woodworking, spending countless hours crafting items for their home or his wife’s shop.
The family wishes for Travis to be remembered for the person he was in life, not for the way he left this world. As per their request, Travis was cremated, and a celebration of his life will take place on Sunday, July 9, 2023, at 1:00 pm at the small pavilion in Stuart’s Park.
