Vale Johnson Obituary, Death-Vale Lola Johnson 1929-2023 We regret to tell you of the demise of Lola Johnson, who was a Life member of our organization. It is with great sadness that we must share this news with you. Lola calmly and quietly went away in the evening of Friday, June 23, 2023. Her passing was uncomplicated and serene.

Lola served as the Match Committee Chairperson at our club for a number of years, and during that time, she put in a tremendous amount of effort to guarantee the growth and success of the women’s bowling program. During her tenure, the club saw a significant increase in the number of women who participated in the sport. During the time that she was head coach, Lola put in a tremendous lot of work to guarantee that the women’s bowling program continued to develop and be successful.

A bowling tournament known as the “Lola Johnson Women’s Pairs” is held in her name on an annual basis. This competition is held in honor of Lola Johnson and as an appreciation of her passion and dedication to the sport of bowling for women. Players like as Karen Murphy, Kay Moran, and Sarah Boddington, who are considered to be some of the most skilled competitors in the State, turn out to compete in this tournament.

Other players who show up to compete include a number of other notable names. It is anticipated that a number of the state’s other best players will be present as well.
The memorial event that will be performed in honor of Lola will be held on a yearly basis, and the date that is slated to take place for the ceremony that will take place this year is scheduled to take place on Monday, August 21st, 2023.

Everyone at the Wiseman Park Bowling Club, as well as everyone else who had the luxury of knowing and spending time with this extraordinary woman, will miss Lola a great lot now that she has passed away. Lola was one of a kind and will be remembered fondly by all who knew her.
God rest your soul
